For a couple of weeks this summer, the Bejing Olympics may cause a brief distraction from Verbier’s numerous summer events and activities. Though separated by thousands of miles, China and the Val de Bagnes share a similar cultural tradition. Whilst exploring this part of Asia, Swiss photographer Petri de Pità observed how the people of China and Valais value a common interest… Verbier Life shares his discovery in this summer edition of the magazine.

Also this month, Sébastien Albert describes a few of Verbier’s incredible hikes, Cherries von Maur tells us what wild ingredients can be found in the area and Eileen Smith suggests some great recipes using wild ingredients, whilst Marcus Bratter shares a pedal powered scenic wine tour.
