Verbier is conveniently situated only one and a half hours from Geneva Airport   with easy transfer options up to the resort making the travelling experience easy for you and the younger members of the family.   Once in Verbier there are numerous activities to keep the little ones entertained. Most ski schools organise special classes and activities for children ( go to the " ski school" page on the site to make an enquiry or booking). Other activities include swimming at the indoor heated pool, ice skating, sledging (hire sledges from sports shops - check our directory) or simply enjoy building snowmen and drinking delicious Swiss hot chocolate. For day care, contact Schrumpfs (spelling) who offer child activities for your child whilst you head up the slope or if you   need a baby sitter, contact the Tourist Office who can provide you with a list of people available to help
