Enjoying piping hot melted cheese, washed down with a local wine is a treat that comes with enjoyment of a ski holiday. Verbier has a lot more to offer than just Cheese. There is a huge international selection of cuisine on offer. Traditional Swiss, rich French classics, Asian fusion, Japanese, Mexican, Italian... the list goes on.

Dining out in Verbier is an enjoyable experience. A lot of the restaurants have welcoming bars for you to enjoy a pre dinner drink... and maybe a few afterwards too. It is however essential to book restaurants in advance. A common mistake when arriving in the resort is to assume you can book on the day you want to go for dinner. This is likely to lead to disappointment; you'll either end up in a restaurant that wasn't your original choice, or eating at home!   The same applies for lunch reservations. Most restaurants have early and late sittings. Make sure you are clear on which option you want. If you have a booking somewhere at 7pm, they may well expect you to leave by 9pm.
